Combat Fishing Tournament Seward Alaska

Tournament Rules

Date of Tournament: May 21, 2009
Location of Tournament: Seward, Alaska
Qualification: Returning Combat Service Members that have served in Iraq or Afghanistan
Entry fee: $0
Method of Fishing: Fish must be caught with a traditional rod and reel with the Service Member being the one to hook the fish, but due to several of our participants being injured at war, assistance landing the fish in permitted.
Start and finish time: Cannon start at 0600 hours and weigh-in must be completed by 1700 hours.
Boundaries: Cloudy Cape - Danger Island
Weigh-in location: Captain Jacks Fish Processing (certified scale)
Weigh-in Official: Elle Zernia from Captain Jacks Fish Processing
Determination of winner: Largest fish by weight
